Ingredients
6 slices Lou’s Double Smoked Back Bacon
2 x 357 ml White Kidney Beans
1 teaspoon fresh crushed garlic
1 -2 Tbsp olive oil
1 small onion diced
1 teaspoon thyme
Salt and pepper
Method

In a large sauce pan, over medium high heat, add the olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic until they are slightly browned. Add the thyme and combine well. Add in the beans, including any juices that are in the beans. Combine well and reduce the heat to medium low. Add the Lou’s Shredded Turkey and gently combine. Cook over medium low heat for 30 minutes. Check and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve with a mixed green salad for a tasty and balanced meal.
